Ann first discovered her love of editing in a VHS tape editing suite in a Perth high school. After completing studies at Macquarie University (Bachelor of Media) and AFTRS (Master of Film Editing), she worked in Sydney, London and New York City across a diverse range of formats including feature film, broadcast television, documentary, commercial and corporate. 
She has been the recipient of an Australian Screen Editors Guild Award, a Best Editing award at the Montana Hatchfest, and her work has screened at film festivals such as Palm Springs (USA), Raindance (UK), Outfest (USA) and Flickerfest (AUS)
. 

Whatever the job, client or genre, she remains true to the guiding principle that story is key.
